Thermal Image - legsEqui-N-icE acts as a process of rapid evaporation giving the effect of a cooling skin balm. These unique bandages draw heat away from the surface of the skin as opposed to driving cold in as in the case of traditional ice packs.

Cold and compression is well documented as the most effective way of treating inflammation, swelling and bruising of muscles, tendons and ligaments. The special liquid coolant contains a unique mixture of non irritating, rapidly evaporating alcohols ideal for use on even the most sensitive of skins. When the bandage is treated with this fluid you get a safe and fast acting cooling of the legs.


It is perfectly safe to leave on overnight – when the cooling fluid has finished evaporating the bandage still works through compression. Finally, no need to stand hosing legs with water. Just charge the bandage with the cooling fluid, wrap the affected leg(s) and leave your horse in the yard or stable. It can even be used during float or truck travel.

Your Equi-N-icE Bandage:Bandages

Your bandage comes in a resealable pouch already charged with fluid and ready to use. It has an unlimited shelf life and does not need to be stored in the fridge so can remain in your first aid kit until needed.

Once used, it can be easily cleaned in your washing machine (we recommend you put it in a lingerie wash bag). Once clean just recharge with the liquid coolant and place back in the foil resealable pouch ready for the next use. No mixing of coolant, no mess and no fuss!

You can expect to get 10 full recharges (3+ hours each charge) of your bandage from the 500ml bottle of liquid coolant and 20 recharges from the economical large 1 litre bottle of coolant.
