Warranty for the "Apollo" Material NoBit Bridle
(please refer below for Warranty for Leather NoBit Bridle)


Each NoBit Bridle carries a full warranty against defective materials and workmanship for 5 years from the date of purchase. Please note that this excludes fading, damage from abuse, misuse, modification or incorrect maintenance procedures.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not completely satisfied with your new bridle for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we will arrange to either exchange it or provide a refund. This offer is subject to the conditions outlined below and the procedures below. Please particularly note the conditions listed under "Exclusions".

Exchanges - We are happy to work with our customers to ensure their NoBit Bridle lives up to expectations. Because all horses are different, sometimes our standard or expected sizes just don't fit. Sometimes the colour was not what you were expecting.

Because the NoBit Bridle has been designed to be fully disassembled, we can easily swap individual parts to get the perfect fit. Often it is not necessary to return the whole bridle. That is one reason why we require you to contact us before you send anything back for exchange. We provide this service free of charge - the only cost to you is the return postage back to us.

Returns - There can be many reasons why you may wish to return goods for a refund. All we ask is that you carefully read the information below and contact us before sending anything back.

Why We Do It - We are not required to provide a Satisfaction Guarantee by law. We do so for two reasons - firstly because we know from experience that our product will be suitable for over 98% of horses, and secondly because most of our bridles are purchased "sight unseen" over the phone or internet and there is no opportunity to physically inspect the product prior to purchase. The last thing we want is an unhappy customer or horse.

What It Costs Us - There are many costs (often including substantial amounts of time) which we lose when we honour a satisfaction guarantee. Therefore it can become quite expensive for us to provide this guarantee. So in order for us to help you, we also ask that you help us by following a few simple steps.

What We Need To Do - When our customers wish to return our bridles for an exchange or refund, we need to collect certain information about the reasons for the return so that we may either revise the product design to be more effective, provide more accurate advice at the time of the sale, or suggest other options if we know that the bridle is unlikely to suit a particular type of horse and rider. The very popular Enduro version of our bridle resulted from exactly this process. We also find quite often that there are sizing, fitting or training issues that can be easily rectified over the phone or via email. Sometimes we may require specific measurements or photos of the horse and bridle to be taken.

What You Need To Do - You are not obliged to provide any particular pieces of information and refunds will certainly not be refused because you choose not to. However your valuable experience may help others in the future. All we ask is that you follow the procedure detailed below so that we may gather as much useful information as possible, and ensure your bridle is returned undamaged. Because some of the information we need can only be determined while you have possession of the bridle, you must contact us prior to sending any part of the bridle back to us.

How Long Will It Take? - While we do try to process all refunds as quickly as possible, sometimes circumstances do not allow this. We will however guarantee to process your refund within 30 days of receipt of properly returned items. We will normally try to contact you if your goods have not arrived 7 days after the issue of a Return Authorisation (14 days for Western Australia or overseas).

What Do I Send Back? - You will be advised what to include in the return package and how to prepare the bridle for shipping. Do not send back your original Tax Invoice. The Return Authorisation number will provide us with a link to your invoice and ensure your refund is processed quickly. Details of how to package the bridle and exactly what items to return will be provided with the Return Authorisation number.

Are There Any Other Charges? - When you return your bridle for refund a Postage & Handling charge of $15 applies and will be deducted from your purchase price prior to your refund being issued. We reserve the right to charge a Cleaning Fee (usually $15.00) if bridles are returned in other than original condition. We also reserve the right to deduct the cost of any replacement parts and labour that may be required to restore the bridle to original condition.

What if I Just Send It Back Without Calling? - Goods that are returned to NoBit Bridles without a Return Authorisation number but with a written request for a refund may be processed at the sole discretion of NoBit Bridles. A $30.00 Restocking Fee will be deducted from any refund in addition to any cleaning or repair fees that may be incurred. The 30 day refund guarantee period does not apply.

Goods that are returned to NoBit Bridles without a Return Authorisation number and with no specific written instructions accompanying them will be held unprocessed for a period of 3 months. If the owner does not provide specific written instructions or arrange for their collection at their own expense during this time, the goods will be disposed of at NoBit Bridles discretion.

Exclusions

The Satisfaction Guarantee does not apply in the following situations:

  1. When the goods are not specifically the NoBit BridleTM (sorry, we do not cover other products at this time).
  2. When the bridle is not made from Apollo (e.g leather bridles are not covered).
  3. When the bridle is a custom or non-standard colour, size or design.
  4. When the bridle has been modified in any manner (this includes adding extra holes to straps).
  5. When the bridle has been damaged in a manner not covered by our 5 Year Warranty.

Please note that in cases 4 and 5 where damage or modifications are limited to one or two components of the bridle, we may be able to replace the affected parts and provide a partial refund after deducting the cost of repairs.

Procedure For Returning Good

Contact us at help@nobitbridles.com or phone 0414 320 974 and provide the following details:

  • Invoice Number
  • Your Name
  • Your Delivery Address
  • Date of Purchase
  • Product Type, Size and Colour
  • Whether a refund or exchange is required
  • The reason for exchange or refund
  • For refunds, how and where you would like the refund to be paid

You will receive specific instructions about how and what to return. Please note these carefully. You must write the Return Authorisation number on the outside of the envelope or packaging.

Return the goods to us with postage paid, in original condition. Please ensure you clean your bridle as we reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee (usually $15.00) as well as the cost of any repairs should the bridle not be returned in original condition.

We will inspect the returned goods. If cleaning or repairs are required we will photograph the affected parts before and after cleaning or repairs.

For exchanges we will then notify you of any amounts required to be paid before the new items can be shipped.

For refunds we will deduct the $15 P&H charge as well as any amounts for cleaning or repairs, then refund the balance via your nominated method.

 

Warranty for Leather NoBit Bridle

Our Leather NoBit BridleTM does not come under our 30 day Satisfaction Guarantee. If you have not used a NoBit BridleTM previously and are unsure as to how your horse will work with our bridle we suggest you try our "Exchange Program" where you purchase an Apollo material bridle and try it on your horse. If you are both happy with our NoBit Bridle then just return the Apollo bridle to us in clean and original condition within the 30 day trial period and upgrade to Leather. All you need to do is pay the difference! Please note that the Upgrade offer is only valid to customers who have purchased their Apollo NoBit BridleTM direct from NoBit Bridles. Retail outlets do not provide this Upgrade Offer and the Leather NoBit BridleTM is exclusively available direct from NoBit Bridles.

The Leather NoBit BridleTM can be exchanged within seven (7) days of purchase should you have selected the wrong size. Bridles must be returned in clean and un-used condition (except where to try for size). Please follow the above instructions for returning items.
